Epoch's very first space
Epoch began as a tiny two chair side hustle in the corner of our Founder, Ben Mahoney’s Production studio, The BMP Film Co in 2010 - never meant to be anything other than being able to accommodate friends and do hair and makeup for film productions.
Enter Beth Schindler. Ben and Beth would meet in 2011 at Rib Fest. Proceed to drink all the beers and develop a plan for her to take the concept and run with it. And run with it she did. Bringing her talent, love for teaching and drive she would help build Epoch “Studio” salon into something really special and unique. In 2012 we would finally begin expanding and bringing on a talented team who remains with us today.
Today Epoch has grown into one of the must successful salons in Wicker Park. We are grateful to have 20 amazing team members and a beautiful space.
